Cheese and Wine Pairing Class
In this class you will be guided through a fine selection of local and not-so-local French cheeses paired with local wines. You will learn valuable techniques to help you understand how wine is paired with cheese. You will be guided by Nick Martin (me!) of A Wine Affair.
In this class, held in an old vaulted cellar in Uzès, or at an agreed venue (at an extra cost), you will sample carefully selected cheeses, learn about them whilst pairing them with the culture and the language of local wines.

It is said that the best pairing come from sticking to the same region in your choice of cheese & wine. Well, although we don’t disagree, we also look out for local wines to pair with cheeses from elsewhere; the largest wine producing region in France is ours - Occitanie- so we have a treasure trove to delve into when looking for the right combination!

We will taste a variety of French cheeses paired with local French wines and learn the proper methods of serving, conserving and appreciating French cheeses all in a fun and interactive setting.
