Nick has clearly worked on and in wineries before so he really understands what he's sharing as opposed to some wine tours where the guide is really just the driver. His relationships with the wineries also create a very different and enjoyable experience in a very relaxed environment. Haven't laughed so much in a long time. Will definitely do it again if we're ever in the area.

With so many wineries in the region its almost impossible to know which ones to select without a local’s knowledge and Nick has that in abundance. One standout for me was that he has spent years working in and around the wine industry and has first hand knowledge (and it shows) of what it takes to make great wine. I took a wine tour with Nicolas Martin and a group of about six others. It was not only informative it was really fun. It was especially interesting as it came after France had suffered severe heat and drought and the vintners were very happy to explain their growing process, potential problems and the satisfaction of producing a good bottle of wine. I was particularly impressed with the wineries Nick chose for us to visit. They were smaller, boutique wineries where the owners and managers were so friendly, passionate and ready to take the time to explain what we were tasting and get our opinions. I walked away feeling that I had a better idea of what a good wine tasted like, how to choose and where my personal tastes with wine lay. I'd recommend his tours to all from novice wine drinkers to people with quite a taste for the grape.

“I really recommend a wine tour with Nick…”
I went with a group of friends on a wine tour with Nick in the Cevennes and it was simply amazing and also fun. He was even able to entertain even the younger 20 year old kids who didn’t know anything about wine. He explained how to taste wine and how to recognize the different flavours. Then he bought us to the vineyards and showed us how grapes are grown and we finally had the chance to see how the process to make wine works! If you are in Uzès, I really recommend a wine tour with Nick…all of us would do it again. Thanks!
